The Aftermath
We played with our new toys on Chris Mouse morning, then we ate so much food we wuz stuffed. Then we ate even more on Boxing Day. Only thing left to do wuz sleep it off.Labels: We ate too much.

The Friday Flashback - Checking Holes
Efurry day we haf to check out all the holes in the feelds to see if theer is enny one home. This is a bunny's hole but I can't see him.
I'll just put my arm down an see if I can feel ennyfing.........
Nope, no-one at home. I wonder if Eric is having better luck.
Theer's a ratty livs in this hole. He goes in the horsie stables an steals theer food and takes it down heer Don't fink he's home either.
Mr.Bunny lives in this hole.Wunder how far I can get in wivout getting stuck.

Surprise Package.
Mum said the postman had brought a package for us, but we told her she must be imagining it cuz we wuzn't expecting anything. She said,'Well it's got your names on it'. Wow! So it has. Someone has sent us a nice paper bag to play with.
Hmm this smells good. I never smelled a paper bag like this before.
Hey look at this Eric! there's a nip pad inside. No wonder it smells so good. There's a Chris Mouse card too and it says it's from our furrends Adan and Lego and Michico.
Oh yes!!! This is good.

The Friday Flashback
Flynn has had the last two Friday Flashbacks so it is my turn today.
It should be from October 2006 but the Beans were away most of the month so we didn't have many posts to choose furrom. This post is another one furrom September instead. Next week we will go on to November.
MY FRIEND.
Well I've tried to ignore Bella Jellycat, but she keeps trying to make friends wiv me, an she hasn't pinched my Stinky Goodness or been sleeping in the best places so..........
Maybe she's not so bad after all
In fact she makes a good pillow.

Christmas Tree
The other day we wanted to get our Chris Mouse tree up so mum said she would help us. Here I am with the middle section on the floor getting the branches nicely spread out.
I thought it would be a good idea to put my stink on it as we went along.
I tasted it as well to make sure it was our tree and not an introoder tree.
Then Eric came along and we checked the box was empty together.
Yup, all seems in order. Nuffin left in here.
Then I had to check the box handle worked properly.
Next thing was to make sure it wuz in the proper purrzishun for hiding under.
I wuz getting tired by then cuz I wuzn't getting much help furrom Eric or mum. I couldn't even have a rest in my Ham-Mick cuz someone had put all the shiny whapping balls on it.
Phew! Finished at last. Next time I think I will leave it for mum to do.

Mancat Monday
Some of you were saying what a fun place we had to play in. It is actually our safe enclosure that used to go on the outside of the window so we could go out and get fresh air when mum wasn't able to take us for walks. As some of you know, we had a big purrizen fence put all the way around our garden just over a year ago. This means we can go in and out as much as we want, whenever we want, and mum doesn't have to spend as much time taking us for walks. Now the enclosure is left in the garden for us to play and sunbathe on. It still gets used when the Beans go on holiday though. Dad made a cat door in the garage/workshop for us and the enclosure is bolted to the garage wall. This means we can still get out in the sun,(or rain) when we are purrizeners. Our plant pots get put in there as well so we can nap in them or on our shelf.I think that sitting on the ladder like this shows off my Mancatlyness, even if Eric does call me a poser.

A Robin and an Award.
Flynn:
Last weekend we put up our Chris Mouse tree and on the tree we put our robin. This robin used to have a brother but several years ago I climbed in the tree and found him. When mum got up the next morning she found a little plastic carcass on the floor but no fev-vers. She thought I must have eaten them. When she put the tree away after Chris Mouse she found the fev-vers hidden amongst the branches. Now she puts the surviving robin at the top of the tree with Mr.Bear. She thinks he is safe up there.
The other day we were reading Simply Cats blog and saw that they had an identical robin and Mitzi had done exactly the same thing. You can read about it here.
We got this Lemonade award from Casper and the Island Cats. Thank you for thinking of us.

The Friday Flashback.
The Friday Flashback this week is from September 2006. It was a hard decision on which post to choose but we decided to carry on the hunting theme from last Friday. I suppose I'd better let Eric have next Friday's post or he will start calling me a blog hog.
How to Scare your Mum.
I've been hunting again an just look what I got. I cawt me a snake!
I had a good chew on it an I fink it's dead so now I'm going to play wiv it.
Spoilsport. Mum took it away furrom me an put it unner the plantpot so dad cud see if it wuz a poison viper.That wuz after she screeched at me an told me too drop it. Drop it woman??? Do yoo know how long it took to catch it?
Eric knows it's theer an he's gonna gard it an make shoor it duzn't ex-cape.
Her's a pichur of it. It wuz neerly dead furrom me putting the bitey on it. Mum got a 14lb.slej-hammer an hit it on the head to make shoor. Dad sed the slej-hammer wuz a bit ecks-sess-iff. He finks it wuz a part grone grass snake, an theer not poy-sun-uss so it wuz ok, but I had to be shut indoors an watched just in case I got pawly.I knew it wuz a armless snake cuz yoo can't see enny arms on it.
