Mancat Monday - Still looking
I've been looking for my mousie furrend again to see if he wants to play with me. I don't think he does, but I've made his front door bigger for him.
Blogger put these two clips in the wrong order. It should have been the second one furrst, but it doesn't really make much difference.

The One that Got Away
I caught a mouse and he wanted to play with me so I let him go so I could catch him again. I think he changed his mind because he ran away. Maybe he will come back tomorrow.

500th. Post
Yayyyy today we have got to our 500th post. We were going to have a competition but mum didn't have chance to help us with it. Instead, everybody who comments today will have their name put in a draw to get a purrize. We were going to accept comments until midnight tonight our time, but because so many of our friends live across the pond, your comments will count until 8am BST on Friday which is midnight PST on Thursday for our West Coast furrends.. Okay, get commenting, you have 32 hours. Only comments on this post will go in the draw.

In the Hay Barn
Eric: I'll just go up on top to make sure it is stacked safely.
Hey Flynn, look at me. I'm touching the roof.
Flynn: While you are up there I'll just make sure the lower layers are done right.
Yep, everything looks okay down here.
Now that's done I'll jump down and have a bath.
Straw tickles and itches so you haf to make sure you bath all the little bits out of your furrs.
All the loose straw has been put in this bag. It makes a good seat where you can listen furr mice.
Eric: All that snoopervising has tired me out. I need a rest now.
It's a bit hot in here, I think I will go and sit in the doorway where there is a nice breeze.
That's better.
Flynn: I don't want any breeze, I'm going to stay in here in the heat.
Oh and yes, that is sun you can see outside the door. After nearly non stop rain since the beginning of June, we have just had one and a half weeks of dry and mostly sunny weather. Hooray!!!!

Mancat Monday
Going for the kill.
Mum was pleased with this photo. She has been trying for weeks to get me in mid pounce, but always ended up getting me when I had landed. You may not be able to tell clearly, but I am about three feet in the air at this moment.
And yes, I did catch the mouse.

A typical Day.
and sit around in the grass......
and we walk around checking things out........
Then when we have done that, we like to chase each other around the garden.
But of course, in between doing that, we nap and we eat.

Mancat Monday - Is there an Introoder about?
Eric: I wonder what Flynn is doing down there.
Flynn: Don't interrupt me. There is a very interesting smell down here.
Eric: Well in that case I'd better come down and check it out furr myself.
Eric: Is this the right place Flynn?
Oh yes, I can tell it is. You're right Flynn, it is interesting.
Very interesting. I wonder what has been here.
If in doubt, pee on it, after all, they are our fields, not the introoder's.

More Awards
We've got some more awards. Stryder, Scotchy and Sugar gave us two awards. The Brilliante blog award and the I love your cats award. Thanks very much to them.
We also got the I love your blog award from Goldie and Shade.
Thanks to both of you as well.
We already had the I love your blog award and the Brilliante blog award, but that's good because we always say you can never have too many awards. We have passed them on to others, and you can see who they were here and here.
We would like to pass our 'I love your Cats' award on to:
Jeter Harris
Ana
KC and the Sherwood Bunch
Victor and Nina
Grace, Audace and Ruce.

Hunting
It's nice to just get out in the fresh air when the rain stops.
We both really enjoy our walks in the fields.
No, I am not peeing, I am listening because I thought I heard a mousie.
After a nice walk, it's good to sit and look at the view from our fields.
And yes, the grass really is that green. It's been like that all summer because we have had so much rain this year.
